Don't put the reed in any further then to close the case as they will be easier to remove There is a new design that I tested which I really like a lot. It's for all single reeds from Eb to Bass (and Saxes too) in any combination. The reeds are held by a black rubber band. Very easy to put in and remove too. Best design yet.
