Oooo the old classic Selmer Series 9... (this is kind of off topic)... when I was in high school I played on a Rosewood Selmer Series 9 Contra-Alto Clarinet... I loved that thing.... okay now on topic... I think probobly $2000 is a more fairer price for it.
