I need a Leblanc 2L crystal Bb clarinet mouthpiece to replace the one I've played for the last 30 years. Unfortunately, this model is no longer available from Leblanc. Does anyone know of a source where I can purchase this mouthpiece?

Two possible sources come to mind: 1) International Music Suppliers in DesPlaines, Ill. (www. intl/musicalsuppliers.com) and, 2) the Saxophone Shop in Evanston, Ill. They have a lot of used mps for saxes and some for clarinets--maybe you will "get Lucky."
If all else fails, the new mps being produced by Richard Hawkins and Greg Smith are are superior to anything done 30 yrs ago. Perhaps it is time to update your set-up. Good luck

William, the International Musical Suppliers web page is www.intlmusicalsuppliers.com. There is no "/" in there. And you can not definitively say that Greg Smith and Richard Hawkins mps are superior to ALL mouthpieces made 30 years ago. That's simply too subjective a statement to make. Such may be the case for you, but I know two persons playing on quite old mouthpieces (a Kasper and a Chedeville), and they love them and are not thinking of "upgrading" to a newer mouthpiece.
Anyway, happy hunting.
