 Still no luck locally to find a donated clarinet

I have tried locally with no luck to find a clarinet that someone could donate.It seems some people doubt the authenticity of this request of a donated clarinet for my step daughter. It saddens me to think that there are people out there who would try to play on the heart strings of others to get a "free" instrument. But there probably are, so I talked to my step daughter and she said that she would send a written thankyou letter and a picture of her with it to anyone who would donate one. Also, please don't write me negative e-mails you don't know what I have been through. Thank you,

What City & State do you live in? What age & grade is your step-daughter. Who or which organizations have you checked with specifically?

Hi Jimmy, few, if any of us doubt your sincerity. I, and likely most of us home-garage types as well as the honest-to-God repairers, have been swamped with student clars needing a few pads, corks and key adjustment, etc. I am in the process of working up a plastic cl which would be suitable, so if someone else beats me to provide you with a horn, please let me know, it'll always be saleable. Hi Jimmy, before your thread goes into the archives, have you had any luck finding an inexpensive clarinet? I have one for a gift, but needing a bit of repair beyond my capabilities, but have an idea of how to keep that low.
