There is one(on Artie Shaw) and I have seen it. I believe it is called "All you've got is time", which is also the title of an autobiography I believe he wrote. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The Shaw DVD is "Time is all you've got". It was produced in 1985.
Enclosed is a scan of the DVD which I own.
Needless to say it is a MUST for all Artie Shaw fans...GBK

BTW - There is also an Artie Shaw DVD called "The Band Keeps Swinging" in which Artie Shaw conducts and Dick Johnson plays.
Like the previously mentioned DVD, this too is an essential Shaw DVD to own...GBK

This is part of what Wikipedia says about "Artie Shaw - Time is All You've Got"...........
"After the film won the Academy Award, Artie Shaw sued Brigitte Berman in Canadian court, claiming ownership of the film (which he liked). When he eventually lost his case both in the initial trial and on appeal, he restarted the suit in California courts. The legal difficulties prevented the film's release between 1987 and Shaw's death in 2004."
That may explain why it hasn't been widely available, although it was shown on TV about 15 years ago.
"The Band Keeps Swinging" is often for sale on an auction site. It includes a very good interview with Artie.

many many thanks. So many of these players I heard play with so many other groups in the 50's and 60's. Really nice to have the video to look at them.
I knew Benny briefly and it is worth this story to give an example of his picking players and his ear. I played his part when he came to the Milwaukee Symphony, the Debussy Rhapsody and the Weber Concertino. The other part of the concert was a Jazz set with a pickup group. Naturally, I went to the airport to pick him up and get him to rehearsal.
At his Jazz reharsal, I sat out in the hall and listened. He played a couple of tunes and said to the pianist, "A little pepper!", and then, "Don't try to play like Teddy Wilson!".(there was menace in his voice) And then to me, "hey Kid" I ran up and he whispered loudly to me, "Kid,Where can I get a pianist?"
The stories about the "ray" are probably all too true as I found out that night.
I also listened for balance when he rehearsed for a concert with his daughter Rachel (of Rachel's Dream), (now Edelsen) at the Gardner Museum in Boston , a benefit for Fontainebleau. Time goes by, does it not?
