I have two (well three bass clarinets) now and they play just like yours and having done all the mechanical thinks the best solution is a stiff reed (a 4 vandoren works for me) and start sanding the back to be sure it is flat and then work on the tip be sure not to take anything off the vamp of the reed.
This may not be a perfect solution but it worked for me
