Searching in woodwind.org and Wikipedia, and with Google and eight other search engines, I'm finding scant information about Gordon Lewin, and never his dates!
Maybe I'm missing something. (Old guy with bad eyesight here).
Can someone help me out with his dates?
Also, if someone could provide an online reference that has more than one or two paragraphs about him, that would be nice, too.
Thanks!
B.

I appeared with Rosario Mazzeo at the Summer Meeting of CASS, The Clarinet and Saxophone Socitey of Great Britain in 1989(I think). I met with Gordon Lewin in London and later was invited to his home for dinner with his wife, a cellist. It was memorable in all ways. He was the very soul of hospitality and we shared a great many anecdotes and other stories. Later, we corresponded for a few years, perhaps into the "90s. Then, I lost track of him and he of me. I would suggest that you get in touch with CASS as he was one of the officers of that organization.
Good luck. Hope there is still only one date.

Yes, Sherman, I should have been more careful with my Ss. My apologies to Mr. Lewin.
By the way, though I'm sure you don't remember, that Leblanc LL with the articulated G# that I bought from you is still a favorite of mine.
