Hi Howard, on the lower back of the upper joint of my Selmer Omega USA is 4494, the only # on this fine-playing, "advancing-student intermediate?" clarinet. To find a "model #" per se, you might ask a cl-repairer [an expert] who may have Selmer parts catalogs. For use on our several sites for "How Old Is My" look-up questions, there may be more info than just ser.# vs date listings, but the model name is more often used. Luck, Don

Thanx, Mark, Don

The serial number is almost always stamped into the wood at the bottom rear of both the upper and lower joint. If you have trouble reading it, scrub it with an old, dampened toothbrush to get the crud out of the stamping.

The model is "Omega." [tongue]
