 serial numbers

I just purchased a Yamaha YCL 450 clarinet, haven't played in 50 years. Plan to join a community band in fall. HOw can I tell how old the clainet is by its serial number and how long have the 450 been made. Thanks!!!

The YCL-450 is a fairly recent clarinet which replaced the YCL-34II within the last five or so years.
