 Ever Buree

The current issue of The Clarinet features an article describing the oddly shaped (and oddly named) Ever Buree, a Mongolian curved clarinet. Web sources disagree somewhat about the exact shape, and sometimes refer to it as an "oboe".

For some reason I find this sort of thing hard to resist: the enormous visual appeal would make up for a lot of limitations. Does anyone here have experience with this instrument? Are they for sale somewhere?
