The Kohlert company was in Winnenden from ca. 1949 though the late 1960s, I believe -- that's about as close as I can pin it down. Hopefully someone else has better info.

I agree with the info from Dave S as to dateing, and suggest more Search here on our BBoard as we have talked quite a few times of K's "checkered" career as a cl mfgr. through the Wars [I and II] and names/locations. I have 2 K's, an old [Kraslice-Graslitz] wood and a Winnenden plastic A !!, both quite good insts. Hope this may help, Others ?? Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

Thanks for your help. I'm trying to find out what it could be worth, there's not to much info on these clarinet's because they are so old. I will keep trying thanks

I have an old Kohlert and although it is finely crafted I don't consider it worth restoring for the purpose of playing it. Any article is "worth" what someone is willing to pay for it and the only way to find out is to offer it up for sale.
