 Siour Robert wooden clarinet
Author: debbie

Hi everybody again:

I have just retrieved my clarinet back from bing overhauled and I though I would update my question as I have ahd a chance to look at it again. The stamp on it is difficult to make out but it seems to say:
Siour
Robert
Paris

with a kind of little crown type sybol around the words. Sound familiar to anyone out there? There seems to be no serial # on it unless there is some mysterious place for it that I'm not looking.

I have a reference to Siour-Chapelain, which was the name of the Chapelain Co. after Robert Siour took over the Chapelain company, but no "Robert Siour" company itself. I put the particulars on the Siour-Chapelain in their own entry.
