The exposition

I am planning to play the Concerto for Clarinet by A. Copland for an audition. They ask for the solo of your choice that you play only the exposition. Could someone help me out and tell me where the expostion starts in this solo?

When you play the first instance of a theme in a piece of music, you are playing the "exposition" of that piece.For instance, the first twenty measures or so of the Adagio of Mozart's K622 can be considered the exposition of that movement/part; the strings take up the theme and then 40 measures later or so the Clarinet restates it. Hope that helps you with your audition. Good luck/break a reed.
