Anybody heard of a Sterling rosewood clarinet? I have a student who just received one as a birthday gift because it was "pretty".

The only 'Sterling' clarinets I know of are Selmer (London) Sterling (which were made by Malerne), though these are from between the '50s and '60s.

There are brand new rosewood Chinese clarinets going by many names on eBay, could this be one of them?
