A bit similar in the concept to tracks from Louis Sclavis' CD Clarinettes. John, if you don't know this CD I recommend you get it!

The track is from Michael Lowenstern's CD 1985 which was released many years ago. Lowenstern has a terrific, award-winning subsequent CD (10 Children) and has just released a new CD (Fade).
There is another version of Blackbird on Mr. Lowenstern's website (www.earspasm.com) that was recorded live more recently. The earspasm web site also includes about 20 full track recordings by Lowenstern as well as other interesting information.
And... on most of the tracks on 1985 and all of the tracks on 10 Children, Mr. Lowenstern is the only performer.

So, that's clarinet, basset horn and bass clarinet we're hearing on this track? It's great!
