I've been reading your board for quite some time, but have never posted. Recently I purchased the brahms/schumann CD performed by Todd Levy of the Milwaukee Symphony. It truly is a fantastic performance, and well worth purchasing. Read the reviews, they're awesome too. Thanks for all of the good hints/advice on this board.

I heard Todd Levy in a recital at Selmer Clarinet Day in New York City a few years ago, and was mightly impressed - that was the first time I had heard of his name. And so, I was very excited when I found out he was releasing a solo CD. I own the recording (a surprise find in the NYC Academy Records piles) and would agree that it is a fantastic reading of the Brahms'.
