After reading about this handy product, I'm wondering to get a few things from anyone here:
Has anyone bought one before, and if so could they talk about it?
Where can you buy one from? (I'm in Australia so American retail shops wouldn't be handy)
What are the preice ranges for the product?
Thanks

As mentioned earlier:
Buy a ZOOM H4, it's the best in inexpensive digital recorder, and goes directly into iTunes or any CD format. Cost? About $300...!
Check it out at:

"and goes directly into iTunes or any CD format."
Can you also use it as a portable HD and just copy what you record to your computer (i.e. drag & drop) or do you have to use some software like iTunes?

Yes, clarnibass, the unit comes with software that enables you to do that easily.
Talk to the people at the store about the issues that concern you, it's a fantastic machine that I have used in many NYC recording studios, at my live symphony concerts (for private study only), and in Broadway pits to help the subs learn the shows with their own professional CD copy of the show.
Good luck,

I've been watching the H4..hoping it would go down in price because of the H2 coming out. Amazon has the H4 at $258 right now. I went ahead and got it...looks like a nice little recorder.

The H4 and the H2 are quite different machines, so I wouldn't really expect the price of the H4 to drop.
