I just thought I'd let everyone in on a recital I went to this weekend.
It was a lovely performance and the closer was Mike Mower's Sonata Latino. It was not what I expected but was a very enjoyable piece. It doesn't seem like a very well known piece but it certainly was worth while. I felt like a couple of the sections in the first movement falsely anticipate an ending but were really just a pause in the movement to move into the next theme of the piece. Structure was strange but the melodies and harmonies were quite nice.

Neato! Thanks for sharing.
I found some sound snippets on Boosey & Hawkes web site and although it's in flute, I can imagine that'd be really fun on clarinet.
I take great pleasure in torturing reeds once they're reached the end of their useful life.
