I am looking for a Bass Clarinet solo book with a fast piece and slow piece, preferably unaccompanied. I am getting ready for college auditions.
Thanks, Maren

I think that Kalamus has a book or two of solo escerpts from the orchestra literature, including some quite lengthy ones. Wagner, R. Strauss - all of the usual suspects. As this is the serious literature that you'll be facing down the road on bass, it wouldn't hurt to get up to speed on them now.

This site seems to have a couple individual pieces: http://www.vcisinc.com/clarinetbassmusic.htm
Doesn't look like they have any collections except the Bach Cello suites, which work well if you have a low C bass.
I've haven't yet played the pieces on that site so I can't give you specifics about them.
