Congratulations and thanks for your mp3 file: I like a lot both Clarinet and Brahms so you have made happy me two time :-))
What Clarinet do you play (model, firm etc..)? And how years of study are necessary to play this beautiful composition?

Kevin -

A lot of things occurred to me as I listened, but I think you should go through the recording with Daniel Gilbert or Bill Wrzesien during a lesson.

I know that they talk to you about:

1. Support before you begin a note and continuing through, so that it starts on time and without a bobble, and doesn't lose center at the end.

2. Intonation, particularly on the clarion high C and chalumeau upper E.

3. Legato finger movement.

4. Seamless register transitions.

5. Listening to the cello and piano, so that you match what they do and know when you have and don't have the melody. Also working with them to match one another's phrasing and integrate the ensemble.

6. Maintaining the musical line in the long phrases.

You obviously have talent and have learned to play well. You also have a long way to go. You're at a transition point, where you go from playing to yourself to playing to the audience and communicating the beauty and joy of the music. It gets better from here on.
