Probably like others you may have found difficulty in getting Eddie's earlier recordins. I would pleased to find out any source for recordings I do not have.
I have noticed that a Webb Site 101 CD has been importing Japaneese re-issues of some of Mr. Daniel's early disc. These recordings have appeared out og the blue.
If otheres have experienced difficulties like myself here in England, I thought that you might like to know.
I personally hear Mr. Daniels about 20 years ago at the Denver convention. I have never seen or hear such a response to a clarinet performance.

Bill, I'm a big fan of Eddie Daniels. I have had trouble finding some of his earlier recordings too, but I keep looking. I heard him play earlier this year in Houston--he was great. Michael

I've got a few original Thad & Mel albums, first pressings on Reprise from the early-mid 60s with Eddie on 2nd tenor. Of what I have he has only one 16 bar clarinet solo, and that's on the tune "Little Pixie" from Live in Munich. However, these all have been re-issued on CD and should be readily available. <:-)
