I'm planning to buy a jerry Hall mouthpiece but I need to know some experience from people who already has it. At the moment I play with a glorious Selmer C 85/105 (modified) with Vandoren 4 (modified) or V12 4 reeds on an hardly choosen couple of Elites. Which facing (JC-1 thru JC-7) should I choose?

Wait a minute. You've got a perfectly good (glorious!) mouthpiece and you're going to buy a new mouthpiece sight unseen? That doesn't make sense! Why are you picking a Jerry Hall? Have you considered any of the other mouthpieces? Why not order a number of them with different facings and return the ones you don't want? It'll take quite a bit longer to decide what you want, but you're more liable to get something that you'll enjoy for quite a while.
When you're talking this kind of expense & personal choice, you need to make the decision yourself.

Ah, but once you've caught the equipment disease, there's really no cure, only temporary remissions . . .

My Selmer is glorious because it has 10 years. The mouthpiece is still perfect but now I need some radical change. I has some "glorious" mouthpiece at home: this Selmer is a present of the first clarinet of "I Solisti Veneti", then I have a B45 played by Michel Portal and the copy of a mouthpiece owned by Fabrizio Meloni (Filarmonica della Scala di Milano). I've played every mouthpiece but now I'd like to develop my "setup".

With that said (however, I'll reserve judgement on the "every mouthpiece" part :^), and the fact that you've decided on a Jerry Hall mouthpiece for whatever reason, then you need to spend some real time playing a variety of the mouthpieces. First, I'd call (205) 252-3276 in the US and talk with Jerry Hall and ask what he'd recommend in the way of facings (to narrow down the choice). Then I'd figure out a way to order 2 or 3 each of the facings that he recommended. Then I'd get to work winnowing down the choices to maybe a couple that worked well for me. I'd then send back the ones that I didn't want, and part with a large check of my income :^)

I personally envy you have good acuaintance with professional players.
Why not consulting with the gentleman of I Solisti Veneti first face to face? I am afraid that European and American people's preference of sound is quite different. Mr.Hall may become at a loss what to advise you without knowing what sound you like.(American people like darker sound and French or Italian people like clearer - not brighter - sound, prefering Michel Arrignon to Richard Stolzman.
Another idea is to select more open Selmer mouthpiece like C-85 115,116, or 118 and ask a suitable refacer to the same gentleman. (Some people use two mouthpieces open and closed ones depending on what to play.)

I know the mouthpieces well and I know Jerry Hall very well. I would recommend the JC2 facing. It is the most popular, lots of students here play on it. Good sound, easy blowing, not expensive at all. He has new facing out now, can't remember what he called it, but it was slightly diferent than the JC2. Also plays really well.

Jerry Hall mouthpieces are the best of the best. I currently have a clear JC2 and wish to buy more in the future. I bought it from jerry hall himself at alabama all-state, whom made it two weeks earlier.
