Hi again everyone,
Well, the last question i asked was how much would it be for a repair on my Bass! Well here is the story...
I live in London and went to Howarths of London (Excellent music shop) to get it looked at and a rough estimate. I thought originally that all the low pads on my Bass had worn but it seems that all the others are about to follow so... i have been talked into an overhaul!!! ARGHHH... Im a student, nevermind! It will cost me £250 and the un-canny thing is, i brought my Bass for £280. The good thing is, that the lady who had a look at it said i got it for a bargain and an overhaulwould do it good and it would still be a bargain!
Sounds good to me!
Anyway, just thought i would let people know! Im taking it in on Dec 18th though so no Bass for a bit!

If thats 250 British pounds (at the current exchange rate), its sounds a bit steep, even if they use top grade pads. Are they going at it with new corks and such?

£250 must be their student rate!! Even so, you might ask Sue Redsull (I gave the number last time) how much it would be for her to do it, because I think it would not be as much.
