I am looking for bass clarinet quartet/ensemble, anyone knows of any with website?
So far I only found Edmund Wells Quartet. I recall an Italian ensemble, but can't think of the name now....
Thanks.

Edmund Welles is incredible!
I just got back from a concert of theirs in Oakland. Incredible. They're really moving in new directions, with more advanced compositions and new players. The new guys (IMO) aren't as good as the guys he had before, but are still pretty damn good. Cornelius Boots is a monster player!

Cornelius Boot's music is really fun. He is a great player that is really pushing boundries. Not for the classical only/ no vibrato crowd, but if you grew up on rock and love the sound of a bass clarinet- check him out at:
http://www.ffun.net/cb/ - heavy metal clarinet - someone had to do it. I wish I could see him live.
I took a lesson with him the last time I was in the Bay area. He was a really nice guy and good teacher to BOOT.
