Good One, Alseg, I've been trying to generate one myself, no great luck, this earlier Sunday AM. Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

How about clarinet players no longer have any reed problems (or read problems).

I already wondered why a jukebox manufacturer would do that.

Great news! Perhaps the Buffet artisans can teach the Wurlitzer guys how to speed up the production process...

Or teach Wurlitzer how to produce clarinets that are even vaguely in tune...

However, NOT and "fools joke" concerning Mr. Backun and Mr Bullock. Here is some news sent me this week per email/repair board:
Good day all,
>
> First of all, it was posted on the repair board this week that Ed Myers
> USA
> officially had it's last day on Friday. Rex Bullock shut the doors and
> Jim
> Smith (J.L. Smith and Co, Charlotte, NC) has purchased all of Rex's
> blueprints, dyes, and tooling.
>
> Secondly, here is news about Morrie:

Good for Leblanc? Hmmmm
That all depends on whether Leblanc and Backon are, umm, compatible. (Is this a politically correct way of putting it?)
We are in for a continued cycle of darker than dark tone at all costs.
Wake me when it is over and Mclane descends from heaven in that great day of reckoning.
If what I feel in my gut is right, the price will rise and the advertising hype with skyrocket.
Pardon my ignorance
Who is Ed Meyers?

Ed Myers was a distributor of hand made pads and other repair supplies. It originally began in Kansas City and was later moved to Omaha. Rex Bullock bought the remnants of the company a few years back. He is going to continue doing plating work, lacquer/color shooting for brass, and rebuilding of pistons (brass). He's getting out of the supply business. All the pad tooling and other tools and supplies have been sold to JL Smith in North Carolina as far as I can make of it.
