Hi,
I am very sorry if my spelling isnt the best. I did not mean to go of track. All I want is answers. Not people to nag and make fun of me. I am just a student looking into other clarinet brands. So what do all you critical clarinet players think of small companies like Peter Eaton, Howarth, Patricola, La Ripamonti, Wurlitzer, Rossi(know its not in Europe) etc. Also does any one have good luck with amati clarinets like I do. Sorry I just do. I cant help it if I like the anti crist brand of clarinets. Please do not pursicute me any further!!!! I just want answers. I just talked about weddings because mark said to go to clarinet fest. i cant. Im sorry. I want to know what others think. Mark- can you answers these. It seems you were more interested in my Aunts Wedding than in answering my question.

PLEASE GIVE ME ANSWERS!!!!!

Thanks Graham :)

C'mon - it was funny! We all make spelling mistakes - I try and keep people from criticizing others, but once in a while something comes across that, well, just tickles the funny bone.

Can't give you answers that I haven't got. If you'd care to search the BBoard for Rossi you'll find some postings, but other than trying out the clarinets of the other makers for a limited time and saying that (aside from the Amati) they're all well built instruments, I can tell you nothing.

If you're asking because you're thinking of buying one - well, then you really shouldn't be asking us until you've narrowed it down to a couple of personal choices, and perhaps ask about people's experiences, especially if there's been any problems.

I spent a year and a half studying and comparing pianos of different makes and models before getting my own (from an eastern European country). I knew what I wanted it to sound like, and I found a dealer I trusted (especially important when parting with 5 figures!). You'll probably spend at least as long checking on clarinets before you go and buy another. At least you should spend the time - once you've made your choice you're stuck with it.

I've seen worse spelling...I actually didn't even get what he was talking about until I went back and reread it.

Anyway, I have a friend who has an Amati and she loves it. Just because it's not one of the four major ones doesn't make it the anti-christ....I know sometimes it seems that way.

I don't really know anything about how the clarinets play though, all I know is they are fun to look at, and a couple other things, but I've never been fortunate enough to play on one.
