I am in the process of exchanging a sapphire pomarico mouthpiece for another pomarico moutpiece. At the moment they have it written down that I would like a ruby returned to me. I started asking myself tonight whether I should call and ask them to send me an emerald instead. What are your thoughts. My setup is as follows:
-New (2005) Buffet R-13 in Bb
-Oleg Ligature (my Bay ligature is on the way and will be what I use with this mouthpiece)
-Size 4 vandoren 56 rue lepic reeds
Before purchasing this moutpiece, I played on a Vandoren B45 mouthpiece, and was having trouble with intonation (intonation was slow). I thank you for your advice.
EDIT: Click the picture here for more info: http://www.pomaricompieces.com/clarinet.html
EDIT 2: I am leaving soon and decided to call WWBW...they are sending me an EMerald M at this point
My Setup:
R13 Clarinet (Ridenour Lyrique as my backup/marching instrument)
Walter Grabner K11 mouthpiece
Rico Reserve 3.5's
Bonade ligature
