Hi all,
Any recommendation for the printed version of the following pieces?
Khachaturian Trio for cl, violin and piano
International Music Co. vs. Sikorski.
Stravinsky Suite from L'histoire du soldat
International Music Co. vs. Chester.
Luyben has all of it. I have had bad experiences with International in the past so I am wondering if it's worth spending the extra $$ for the other publishers.
Best,
-Sylvain

I haven't seen the Sikorski or Chester editions but , in general, the International editions are direct copies from earlier non-copyright editions so you might end up paying more money for the same thing . I have performed the Khachaturian using the International parts with no problems.

In my opinion, go with the cheaper edition (International). There may be a few errors, but they are probably easily corrected. You may find errors in the more expensive editons anyway. Put $$$$ saved into stocks.
