I've had a great time working my students (basically younger ones pre 10th grade, but can be any age as they aren't too simple) on the
12 Styles of Christmas by James Hosay. It's published by Curnow and distributed by Hal Leonard (so probably Hal Leonard would be the publisher to name for it).
Hosay was a Staff Arranger for the Presidents Army Band in DC (Pershings Own).
I don't know James, but my best friend growing up went to school with him so I recognized the name.
Comes with a play-along CD with live performers, not the canned organ stuff that many have.
Very, very jazz oriented with various jazz styles.
Good stuff.
Any other favorite Christmas books that you use?
