Congrats! I fell in love with my E11 when I played those first notes in the music store. It's an awesome instrument at an awesome price.

Good to here about people finding instrument they love, I can remember when I got my frst real clarinet (an E13, I still use it as a back up). M13's rock with buffets, I would also try an M13 lyre or M15 if possible, but if not I can't imagine you will be disapointed with the M13. For the record selmer paris horns are fantastic. But it's good to hear about the excitement of something that plays well,

vandoren 13 series mouthpices go a long way in solving the tuning issues with E11's. (they're designed to play at a=442, the stock e11 barrels are short - 64.5 mm)
with a M13-Lyre and a 65 or 66mm barrel they're very nice for the money. not an r13, but not bad at all.
my backup horn is an E11 with a M15 and a 65mm barrel. thats still a tad sharp, but close to where it needs to be. YMMV.

I had an E11 for years - first 'real' instrument. Finally gave it up a few years back for Selmer Paris - but it served me well. They didn't have M-series Vandorens back then, so I eventually gravitated to a 5RV (which I still play, by the way... how they got it so right so long ago I'm not sure)
