According to the Buffet literature the RC was designed by Robert Caree. It has undercut tone holes, a polycylindrical bore in the upper joint of 14.64, a 3mm loner conical bore on the lower joint, and an egg shaped ream inside the bell for better sound emission. Hope this info helps.

I play and own a pair of Buffet Prestige RC clarinets. The description given is correct. They also (the model I have) have the E flat left finger for easier fingering of the E flat and g sharp on the lower register. They are excellent in sound and easy of playing.
