The musical life of Gustave Mole

This is a nice children's book I found in a local bookstore some weeks ago.
For this mom of school-age kids, the bed-time story selection is sometimes as tricky as reed selection, and I was really glad to find this one.

But I have to admit, I like this book more than my two boys do..(sigh~)

My question is, do you know any similar children's book(s) about music in general, or instrument playing in particular? Could you recommend?
