Does anyone know of any Klezmer-style clarinet solos with orchestra? I have also posted this question on the ethnic board, but I figured there may be someone on this board that doesn't read the other one and who might know of such a piece.

There are actually quite a few though the sheet music may be hard to find. For starters, Giora Feidman has recorded a number of CD's with such works. Many of them were written by Ora Bat Chaim. If you Google "tonos," you should be able to find this German publisher's website. They have a number of Bat Chaim's works in their catalog as well as some others Feidman has recorded. They ship worldwide but are not fast, in my experience.
If you go to:
<www.naxos.com>
you can find a number of such works. Search their catalog on "Klezmer concerto" without the quotes (title) and you will find a recording with several. At least one of these, "Kli Zemer" by Robert Starer is available from sheetmusicplus.com. Also search Naxos for Stoltzman or Krakauer as performer and you will turn up some additional works.
There is even one work on Music Minus One, "Truat Melech" by Andre Hajdu.
Note that many of these works call for the soloist to play clarinet and bass clarinet.
Best regards,
jnk
