I am working on a Bouree' by Bach, and I am playing solo with no piano accomp. I am curius how to improve my intontaion, and how to make the piece more contrasting with dynamics. I can't feel I can get to soft, or to loud, I am all by myself. Thanks for any input!

Solo Bach Bouree. Support and listening are the most important means to the intonation end. Of course, you horn has to have the capability also.
I take it that there are not much in the way of dynamics written. Look at the music as a whole.(forest) There are musical statements that you can make out through the music. These phrases each one important. Each of these phases, sentences, has a begining, middle and end. Play each phrase with that in mind. You may find yourself starting softly, rising and then coming down in dynamic with each phrase. Each of these phrases (trees) make up part of the musical piece (forest). You can paint this forest as you see fit. There are innumerable possibilities. Use your imagination. Paint the picture you want of this piece. Paint the picture you want the audience to have of this piece. What's important about it.
You say you can't get to soft or too loud. I would disagree . If you have good support and a good clear sound with control, use that control to make the music you want soft as soft as you want with control. Same with forte passages, Control the sound so it stay with that good quality of sound that is you.
Do you have more specifics on the exact bouree? Is it one from the cello suites? I'd like to help more if I can. I'm sure others would also.
