 Austalian Vintage Reeds, Oliveri, and Marca

any questions, comments, or concerns on these brands? I'm thinking about ordering a box of each just wanted to test the waters to see if there is anything that others have found out about these reeds.

Check the reed strength comparison chart at the International Music Suppliers web page to make sure that you get equivalent strengths (i.e. the same number does not mean the same thing for different brands).

As per a recomendation by Tom Ritenour when he was still with the LeBlanc Corporation, I started using Marca Trads #4 and have not been disappointed. They are relatively consistant (with a little work, all reeds in a box of ten can be adjusted to play very well) have a good sound and are durable. Never liked Oliveris very much but have friends who use them all the time. Good luck.
