Have an old clarinet...R13 or E11?

Author: aylara  Date:   2005-08-02 02:37 Hello, I have an old Bb clarinet that I'm having trouble identifying. Honestly, I can't tell if it's an E11 or an R13. Here's what I know. It's marked Buffet Crampon & Cie., A PARIS on all pieces, without any letters or anything. There's a tiny harp at the top of the logo, and a scripty letter B underneath, with MADE IN FRANCE underneath. The serial number is 233164 and from my own research, it is probably from 1982. The clarinet comes with two barrels, both with the same number imprinted on them, 1131 640. One of the barrels is marked MOENNIG, and I would think it would have had to come with the clarinet originally. The mouthpiece appears to be plastic, but I'm not sure. It has the exact same logo, and near where the reed goes, the word FRANCE is on the left side and there's a letter C and a crown on the right. The case looks like leather (but may not be). It's brown with goldtone to the clasps. There is a key entry on each clasp, but I don't have the key. It was recorked and repadded shortly before being stored, and looks pretty pristine, considering it hasn't been played in at least eight years. It was stored in my bedroom...no basements!
