Full Boehm 1952 Buffet clarinet

I have a clarinet that I can't identify, and I'm hoping someone else can. It is a Buffet, made in 1952, and it is a full Boehm model, with 20 keys and 7 rings. It's 2" or so longer than an R-13. Can anyone tell me what the model is and/or how to get more info on it? Thanks!!

Hi, Tim Wilson. Your clarinet is indeed a full Boehm system and is the same as mine (SN 22516). The Buffet-Crampon Company identifed this and several other models as their Master Bore Professional clarinet. The other models differed in the number of rings and keys. When my instrument was purchased in December 1941 from Carl Fischer, Inc., in Chicago, Ill., Carl Fischer, who was exclusive distributer of Buffet instruments before and after 1941, identified all of the Buffet Professional Models with the following numbers, R-13(Pre-polycylindrical)(17 key-6 ring), R-13 1/2(18 key-6 ring), R-14 (17 key-7ring), R-14 1/2 (18 key-7 ring),R-16 (19 key-7 ring), and R-16 3/4 (20 key-7 ring). These were their designation numbers in 1941. In later years they may have changed the numerical designations of the different models, I don't know. Buffet's beginner and intermediate clarinets were designated as Evette (student or beginner models). These were made in a seperate factory. The Evette and Schaeffer models were the intermediate models and were made in the same factory as the professional Buffets. The difference between the E&s and the Buffets was the tuning and finishing of the clarinets. I have no idea why someone would fill the holes as you describe.
