 Carmen Variations

I came across this title in a catalog, and don't know anything about this particular piece. Is anyone familiar with it? Is it a typical operatic fantasy, or is it more variations and not a lot of Carmen? It is a new arraingement by Petit. I would just like to find out if it is a good piece before I drop $23 on it. Thanks in advance.
