Hello, just been thinking about this, please confirm for me…
The low C note on the low-C bass clarinet is the same pitch (concert Bb) as the low G# note on the low-Eb contra alto clarinet.
In other words, the contra alto can extend 4 semitones further down than the low C bass.
Correct? Thanks.
