Hey ya'll. I was searching through the 'basement' of our bandhall and lo and behold, a beautiful old Eb clarinet!! It's a one piece Buffet that's unexpectedly clean (with a little tarnish though, bu that's ok). The only problem is that it did't come with a barrel or mouthpiece...which leads me to my question. Do you guys know any way of getting an inexpensive Eb barrel, mp, and lig? My band director said that it played wonderfully just a few years ago, and if I provided my own barrel/mp/lig I can play it in concert! I've always wanted to play! My private teacher lets me doodle around on hers once in a while, so I"m used to the embouchure and all. So, any ideas?! Thanks a bunch.

Check out the retailers listed under the menu items at the bottom of the bulletin board (it's either under equipment or resources I think). Then start calling them. See who might have a barrel in stock. This will probably be the harder item to find. Most of them will carry a good selection of mouthpieces and ligatures.

Yes :^)
The Retail section for Barrels, Mouthpieces, and Reeds also shows up in the respective Equipment sections.
The wonders of underlying databases ...
