Ricardo also articulates without effort.
He can single tongue as fast as most can double tongue.

Unfortunately I haven't ever seen him play.
But you all should see his brother Jaime Morales-Matos play the trombone. He's on the faculty here at MU and teaches sight singing & dictation, and trombone. He plays things on the trombone that are so fast many great clarinetists probably couldn't play it.

This reminds me of an earlier thread about pointed chins and puffing cheeks. Someone said: "To me, the chin should always, always, always be flattened and pointed. No exceptions."
So, who will be the first to critisize Morales.

Does anyone else have trouble "pointing" their chin enough while still voicing with a high tongue ("eeh")? It has been driving me nuts lately. And what do you think about upward pressure from the thumb as a primary pressure source?
