Aside from the well known Brahms and Schumann pieces for clarinet in A, what other composers/ pieces are written for clarinet in A?
Thanks---

There are many:
Wolff: Concerto
Purebl: Concerto (I think...it might be the Krommer)
Sutermeister: Capriccio
Ran: For an Actor: Monologue for Clarinet
Stravinsky: 3 Pieces (mvts. 1 and 2)
I didn't list "many" but there are many more. I'm sure others will fill in. OR you can go to the repertoire database on THIS website and do a search or browse the files for clarinet in A and whatever accompaniment you wish. Good luck.

Nielsen: Concerto
Mozart: Concerto and Quintet
Honegger: Sonatine
Francaix: Tema con Variazioni
Howell: Sonata
That's just a few obvious ones I can think of...

Get a friend who plays flute and work on Saint-Saens Tarantella for Flute and A clarinet. Lots of fun.
