I just received a email from a participant on this board [forgot name] asking about which John Butler was which! Somehow while reading your letter I pushed the wrong key and the letter went away forever.. Please resend the email, by the way the only John Butler that works on my horns is located in Sugar Land Texas and he's a remarkable technician & a pleasure to deal with.

GBK doesn't this remind you of the television show "To Tell The Truth" ? "Will the real John Butler stand up..." Gee I'm broadcasting my age!

I think I'll step in on this one.....
1. We both have the same FIRST and LAST name, but our middle names are different.
2. We are approximately the same age.
3. We both apprenticed in the SAME repair shop and had the SAME mentor (Bob Stailey) , but I went through the program a few years ahead of him.
4. I was introduced to him when I visited that repair shop in the early 80's. I was introduced to him by Bob stating, "John Butler, I'd like for you to meet John Butler!" (What a Kick!!)
5. We get each other's orders from suppliers from time to time. I just started shipping them up to him and he to me rather than sending them back to the supplier (just causing delays).
6. He's thin with red hair, and I'm NOT thin and balding.
7. I'm a sponsor of this BB and he is not.
8. I think I do better clarinet repair!
I'll add to this list later if I can think of anything else.
