Thanks to this board, I could get this wonderful CD.
Having no former knowledge about Jewish music or culture or language(the glossary helped a lot), this CD opened a whole new world for me and my family.
Clarinet as Pincus is also fun. Banjo as the Cat offers a good comparison with clarinet version...Can't tell which depicts the cat better!
This CD really made my day. The narrative(by M.Sandak) was so enchanting and rhythm so fun, my younger son started to dance along!
Thank you again.

All very interesting,indeed!
Could you tell more about this Klezmer group? What exactly is the orchestra (or band?) called? Why does this group seem to play jazz (I could hear the bass sound, too) ?
Where can I have more info about them? Oh, I might go back to the amazon.com sites you linked.
Thanks again.
