I was just curious about this weber piece that is so famous amoung clarinetist, acyually I would like to know the exact name of it., I asume its something like the Weber concerto or there abouts and I wanted to look it up with exact name. Thanks a lot for any help you can provide!

There's several pieces by Weber. The most famous is probably the Concertino. There are also two concertos, a quintet for clarinet and string quartet, the Grand Duo Concertante, and the Opus 33 Variations. Then there's another set of variations sometimes attributed to Weber or Kuffner. If I had to guess just one, it would be the Concertino.

yeah the concertino is great piece i played it last year for U.I.L. competition (texas) and had a blast with it!!

There are a few famous Weber pieces. There are two concertos, the second being way harder than the first. They are beautiful and technical. There is a Grand Duo Concertant and a fantasy piece or something like that. So look into it. My favorite is the second concerto- but I will stress again that it is very hard. But it is FUN!!!!

I played the Concertino, too. I did not enjoy it as much as the concertos, but it is an awesome piece.

the piece you are looking for is probably the Concertino, I played it at Solo & ensemble contest and i really enjoyed it. From what i hear it is a common and popular piece especially among high schoolers.
