ZZZZ,

I've got a Buffet Symphony Model 227 with Silver head joint, Cooper-scale, open-hole with low B foot and gizmo key that I got on eBay for $200. It is perfect and plays as well as I will need for many years. Rubbish, no; the best no, but fine for my situation.

I would agree with this last assessment. If the flute is in good working condition ....and especially if it is open hole with B foot....this is a good instrument. The embouchure hole is of good dimensions....making it easy to play with a good sound. This would be a good beginner/intermediate flute comparable to a Yamaha student flute.
