 Whoo hoo!

Well, I did it. After 7 or 8-ish years of not playing, I bought a used Vito today and tried to make sound. And it worked! Not a particularly good sound, mind you, but I was suprised how quickly everything came back to me as I fiddled with it (no pun intended...).

I just want to thank everyone for giving me suggestions six months ago...they were and will be very useful. I look forward to learning how to play again!

Welcome back, ns2005 :)

You're in good company here. A rather large number of us are second-timers and third-timers and some even multi-timer re-starts. When I took up the horn again several years ago, I discovered this BBoard soon after. Many suggestions, tips, and encouragements kept me at it. Keep posting. You're an inspiration to the rest of us as well. Thank you.

I had a forty year gap in my playing and I sound much better and I know exactly how to express myself, due to maturity.
