OPEN QUESTION???? consequent upon a previous posters question !
Any mileage in forming a worldwide group for free redistribution of thousands (nay millions) of perfectly good ligs (used once and discarded)?.
Look, there must be a enormous cache of 'em. (I've got a stash - I'm sure most of you have also). Yet STILL, they're making new versions to sell to neeps (Scots for turnips) like me ! Could we send 'em to the Third World to confuse/benefit the clarinettists less fortunate than ourselves or just redistibute amongst ourselves? I mean as a group we must spend millions on ligs, to discard 'em prestissimo.

Got any Harrison Gold Bass Clarinet ligatures in your collection?
I just broke my 5th. Bass ligature, and I'm looking for some spares.
The FLs work great on clarinet, but I still like my old Harrisons on Bb & Eb.
Let me know what you have?

The classifieds work just fine. I just popped my wanted ad in, and hope to get some response on the ligature quest.
Happy Holidays!

Perhaps they should put under the "wanted" section a clause stating "Willing to trade" and make sure to leave a contact email address so we can see what they are willing to trade for.
I myself have plenty of ligatures I don't use that I'd be willing to trade. Even if just for the fun of trying out new equipment.
