Anyways, I wanted to say I think I might be getting a yamaha that costs like $700. Because my grandmother gave me 250 for my birthday, plus ill be getting 250 back from returning my previous crappy clarinet, so it won't take too much more to get it, but I'm not quite sure yet, I'm still going to look around for used ones for a bit, becasue that is pretty expensive.
My choice is what I choose to do, and if I'm causin no harm it shoudln't bother you.. Your choice is who you choose to be, and if you're causin no harm then you're alright with me.. - Ben harper

Mark is very wise man and he knows what is good and what is wrong,
he knows when something is chit-chat and when valuable conversation.
I am VERY happy that we have Mark, because without him we would be hopeless and lost in this complicated world.

That's awesome. Although make sure you don't just pick a clarinet that's in your price range and is shiny. Make sure you really give that clarinet it's own audition. If you search the boards you'll find some good advice on how to pick and choose a clarinet. Also, a good article of advice that I've seen is on Tom Ridenour's site on how to make sure you pick the right clarinet . . .

Too many people get suckered in by an attractive price only to find that it's not all it's cracked up to be. Good luck and have fun with the new horn.

If I were you I would buy a Buffet E11 Clarinet. It's wood, and plays very well. It costs a little over $600 at Music123.com. Check it out.

The Buffet Mafia are out in force on this one I see!!
Everyone KNOWS that you will never get a job unless you play a Buffet...and everything else is FAR more out of tune and plays less notes per second.

Buy the clarinet YOU want to buy...go and try lots including all those mentioned above. At the end of the day it's your clarinet.
I'm currently mourning the loss of my new Tosca's...tragically killed in a car crash last week. They died, so that I may live.
