 Buffet International & Selmer Omega
Author: Katfish

One last time, What is the difference between the Buffet International and the E11. And what is the US made Omega like? Is the International worth $600 more than the E11? Is the Omega comparable?

The Buffet International is considered a step-up intstument and the E-11 is considered a student instrument. They are both very nice instruments. If you buy an International you might play it for more years.

The USA made Selmer Omega isn't known to be a very good instrument. A friend of mine who owns one of the largest repair centers in the country and does all the repairs for the Brook Mays Company told me he had lots of problems with them back when they carried them in his local store (before they sold out to Brook Mays). I did, however, buy a couple of Selmer Paris Omegas from him and really liked them. They both had a big sound and the students who purchased them from me found them quite pleasing.
